I have always been passionate about dogs and love being active, especially outdoors. These passions and a personal interest in large breeds have been combined into my dog walking business which was founded in 2009 with a little inspiration from my Doberman Pinscher, Logan.
Raising Logan and caring for a variety of large and specialized breeds, such as Doberman Pinschers’ and Bulldogs, has led to a great understanding of the special requirements of these dogs. Not much phases me anymore, as I’ve experienced so much with my clients over the years. I’ve pretty much seen and heard it all. Even if you just need a supportive ear, I’m here for my clients, as I care for you as I do for my own family.
In 2008, I started the Toronto Doberman Pinscher Meetup Group as an opportunity to connect with other dobie owners. We are now over 280 members strong. I host monthly meetups located at different dog-friendly locations throughout the GTA. We warmly welcome any and all breeds, just as long as they’re up for some big doberdog play! Please feel free to join our group to get updates on our upcoming play dates.
When I’m not out with the dogs, I’m busy making custom dog collars and leashes, which is another branch of The Hydrant brand. This keeps my creative side happy, while creating beautiful, safe and comfortable collars for lucky dogs. My collars and leashes have been featured on the Pet Network, Dogs In Canada, Modern Dog Magazine and The Globe & Mail to name a few. I’m also a proud supporter of numerous rescues including; K9 Rescue Me, T.E.A.M Rescue, The Toronto Humane Society and The Boston Terrier Rescue Canada. Visit The Hydrant Dog Collars, Leashes & Accessories site for more info.
I’m a Whatta Pup! trained dog walking professional, a Guild Member of the Association for Force Free Pet Professionals, and keep up to date on current dog training and behavioral studies. I ONLY use humane, force-free, dog-friendly techniques, that respect both you and your dog. I will never use fear, pain or humiliation with your dog.
My top priority is the safety, comfort, and health of your pet. You can relax knowing your best friend is receiving the best care while you are away at work for the day or on vacation.
Logan and I are here to help you and your dog. We’d love to hear from you today.
I am a strong part of the canine community, and have been featured in several Toronto media outlets including:
